Lumbar Therapy Portable.  This product has the identical design as the SEDMax Pain Management Portable.  The prime difference is its clinical purpose.  Whereas the other SEDMax products focus on the stimulating the nervous system by providing a mechanical oscillating pressure to the lower spine, this unit creates a slight extension of the lumbar lordotic curve.  The product applies the same pressure as the other SEDMax products; however, instead of one centrally located bulb for stimulation, this unit has an oscillating pad that spans across the lower lumbar spine (width is 8.5").  The clinical purpose of this unit is to rehabilitate the lower lumbar spine for muscular flexibility; for post-operative care and for inducing blood flow for pain relief in that specific region.  The SEDMax Lumbar Therapy Portable fills a clinical orthopedic need that our other SEDMax products do not reach.
